Kyle Doerxen
Founder of Future Motion Inc and author of Onewheel Inventor
The inventor and chief engineer of Onewheel, Kyle Doerksen, spent 8 years developing consumer and technical products at IDEO, a global design and innovation firm. He has several engineering degrees at Stanford University. The idea for Onewheel developed as it needed to go a mile to work, and dreamed of a better way to get there. He grew up in the Canadian Rockies as a greedy snowboarder and wanted to bring a sense of snowboarding to the sidewalk. Electric vehicles are his passion, and Onuwiel is an expression of true freedom and excitement that electromobiles can achieve.
