Manual of your electric wheel

Porterage

Systematically turn off your Wheel before lifting it off the ground, otherwise the engine will pack up in a vacuum.

Loading

Always connect the charger to the wall outlet first, then to the wheel (and never the other way around). To stop charging, proceed in the opposite order: disconnect the plug from the Wheel, then the wall plug.

Make sure that the polarizer of the charger enters the grip of the Wheel side keying.

During charging, do not turn on the Wheel, as charging the motor causes strong currents that can damage the BMS. The red charger LED indicates the current load. When the indicator turns green, you can unplug the charger. If you do not use your Wheel for a long time, recharge it at least once a month.

To avoid short circuits, always close the cap of the charging socket. A single drop of water, or a piece of metal falling inside, can completely burn the plug.

inflation

It is mandatory to use a pump with a minimum of 40 cm of hose between the inflation valve extension and the pump. Follow the recommended pressures for your Wheel.

Puncture, replacement of the tube

For disassembly / reassembly, always use an electric screwdriver with usually a PH2 tip. If your screwdriver hangs on the head of the screws, contact us immediately. Also use "Park Tool TL-5" metal tire changers, as well as soap to ease tire exit. tube valve

Mounting direction of the tube on the Wheel: the valve must be oriented towards the hole in the rim. To make sure, slightly inflate the new room.

No cleaning

The inside of the Wheel does not clean, the engine block is waterproof, do not try to open it to clean it.

Footrest

If they unfold without resistance, you can tighten the side screws. To hold them, unscrew the two screws of each footrest using a 5mm Allen wrench, put the threadlock in the hole, then tighten them. As soon as you feel the stop of each screw, do not squeeze any more, as this will twist the footrest.

Driving your monoroue

The change of mode is generally done by the Bluetooth application, or by a specific manipulation to the manufacturer.

The modes proposed by the manufacturers of gyroroues are often the following ones:

  • Hard = Madden = Powerful = Sport = Hard
  • Medium = Comfortable
  • Soft = Soft = Soft

These modes correspond to adjusting the tilt of the pedals with the body when you lean forward and backward.

Sport mode keeps the pedals firm (horizontal).

Soft mode leave the pedals, the fork and all the wheel accompany you in your tilting motion; the wheel rocks with your body forward and backward.

This could be compared to driving a car: Hard = firm suspensions (sports cars); Soft = comfortable suspensions

For the passage of obstacles, the passage on the paving stones, the descent of sidewalks, and generally in city driving, Urban360 advises the mode Sport, because the recovery of the motorization is done instantly. Conversely in soft mode, you will feel a flutter, a rocking your body forward while the engine resuscitates the wheel, preventing you from accelerating quickly on the pavement or after the descent of sidewalks.

The Soft mode brings a more streamlined, softer ride, closer to the ski, and lower power consumption, because the engine requires less amperage after the lowering of obstacles.
